TOP STORY: Chelsea, Man United battle for Palace's Olise

Chelsea are preparing an approach to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, according to the Standard.

The Blues are reported to have made the 22-year-old one of their top transfer options to reinforce their side after previously attempting to sign him last summer.

Olise is said to be open to a switch to Stamford Bridge, though he would prefer to join a club in the UEFA Champions League. Manchester United are expected to compete with Chelsea, and for Olise, who is contracted at Selhurst Park until 2027. The Eagles are looking for an offer of at least £60 million before considering parting ways with him.

Chelsea are preparing to move on some players from the squad first before entering any negotiations, with midfielder Conor Gallagher and defender Trevoh Chalobah both linked with exits.

- Barcelona have moved Liverpool winger Luis Díaz to the top of their shortlist, reports Sport. The Blaugrana see the 27-year-old as a stronger fit for the side than Athletic Club and Spain international Nico Williams, though they could need to move someone on before making any signings this summer. Díaz made 51 appearances across all competitions for the Reds last season.

- A race between Bayern Munich, Roma, and Napoli could take place for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, reports Calciomercato. The Bianconeri are reportedly willing to let him leave if they receive an offer worth £40m after talks over a new contract stalled, due the Serie A club not meeting the 26-year-old's salary demands. Roma manager Daniele De Rossi is believed to see Chiesa as an ideal forward-line partner for Paulo Dybala.

- Multiple clubs are watching the situation of Lyon attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki, reports Foot Mercato. Paris Saint-Germain are said to be one of the sides interested, but they could also face competition from clubs in the Premier League. Lyon remain open to parting ways with him this summer, but there is the belief that the 20-year-old is reluctant to leave due to having one year left on his "lucrative" contract.

- Barcelona are expected to wait before deciding on the future of winger Ansu Fati, reports Sport. Despite Sevilla being interested in him, the Blaugrana want to see whether new manager Hansi Flick wants to give the 21-year-old a chance in the first-team squad. He made 19 Premier League appearances while on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion last season, though just three were starts.

- Liverpool goalkeeper Adrián is on the radar of Real Betis, according to Mundo Deportivo. Talks are reported to have already been held between the LaLiga side and the 37-year-old's representatives, which has seen him delay his decision on a contract extension offer from the Reds. It is believed that he would be delighted to return to Los Verdiblancos after coming through their youth academy before leaving the club in 2013.
