UEFA Europa League action continues on Thursday as FC Porto host Manchester United on Paramount+. Porto are second in the Liga Portugal table and will try to translate that success to tournament play after dropping their first Europa League match 3-2 to Bodo/Glimt. Man U drew with Twente in their first UEL match, but they are reeling from being 13th in the Premier League table.
Kickoff from Estádio do Dragão in Porto is set for 3 p.m. ET. The latest Porto vs. Manchester United odds list the hosts as the +160 favorites (risk $100 to win $160) on the 90-minute money line, with United as the +165 underdogs. A draw is priced at +240 and the over/under for total goals is 2.5. Before you tune in to Thursday's match, you need to see the Europa League picks from betting expert Jon Eimer. Eimer is a high-volume bettor who has vast knowledge of leagues and players across the globe. Since joining SportsLine, he has covered the English Premier League, Serie A, the FA Cup and much more. The Indiana-based handicapper compiled a winning record of 260-133-1 with over 90 units of profit for his community on various platforms over a recent two-month stretch.
For Porto vs. Manchester United, Eimer is picking the home team to draw no bet for a +120 payout. The expert is adverse to backing the Red Devils, who have lost three of their last five domestic matches and could only manage a draw in their first UEL match. They are also coming off of a rough 3-0 loss to Tottenham and have to travel.
Eimer notes that Porto are known to rebound after losses and are coming off of a 4-0 domestic win against Arouca, so they should be motivated after dropping their first UEL match.
"I don't know if they have enough to grab all three points here, but at the very least Porto should be able to share the spoils at home," Eimer told SportsLine.
