The USL Super League has officially announced the playoff schedule for its debut season, marking a major milestone for the growing women’s professional soccer league. The postseason is set to kick off with the semifinals on the weekend of June 7, followed by the championship final on the weekend of June 14.
The league's inaugural playoffs will follow a single-elimination format, featuring the top four teams from the regular season. In the semifinal round, the No. 1 seed will host the No. 4 seed, while the No. 2 seed will host the No. 3 seed, with the higher-seeded teams enjoying home-field advantage. Venue approval and availability will be confirmed by the league ahead of each match.
Since its launch in August 2024, the USL Super League has operated on a fall-to-spring calendar, aligning with many top European competitions. The season included a winter break from mid-December to mid-February, allowing for player recovery and training before the final stretch of regular-season matches.
As of now, Carolina Ascent FC tops the standings, holding a narrow lead over Brooklyn FC, who are looking to bounce back from a rough patch that has seen them go seven games without a win since the restart in February. Fort Lauderdale United FC and Dallas Trinity FC currently occupy third and fourth place, rounding out the playoff picture as teams fight for final positioning.
